Hello all,
I
am a giant Herbie that would have been given away at R2K by a
wonderful and sweet young woman named Katherine Anne Perry. But
this Christmas Day, Katie was killed in a car accident. She was
17. Katie was her parent's life and they were her's. At the end
of Mitch and Katie's first cross country trip she wrote this in
her summary.
"...all in all just drive around the
country with someone you want to get to know better. That's why
I went. And I'm glad I was able to meet my Dad and know better
the man who I thought he had always been.
I love you daddy...

Katie's
mother, Shirley, also was a big part of her life. Shirley dedicated
her life to making Katie happy and being there for her every way
possible. They were sometimes mistaken for sisters because they
acted and seemed so much alike. She was truly her MOTHER's ANGEL.
This page is called Katie's Gift because she truly was a gift. Her attitude towards life surely impressed, in some fashion, everyone she met. She will be missed by many.
